Archiving

OJS supports LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe). A system for archiving journals permanently and safely. LOCKSS is an open source software developed at the Library of Stanford University that allows libraries to maintain selected journal websites by collecting regular data backups from registered journal websites for newly published content and filing them. Each archive is continuously validated against other library caches, and if content is found to be damaged or missing, other caches or journals are used to save it. Apart from that, the Archiving System was integrated with national and DIKTI libraries, Copernicus ICI and scholar.archive.org
